Tinker Swiss Cottage to host unique railroad lecture

ROCKFORD, IL - The Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum will present a lecture about local railroads at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at the museum's visitor center.
The lecture will be presented by Simon Cordery of Monmouth College. Cordery has a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University, a master's from University of York and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently the department chair of history at Monmouth. Continued
