Sign stolen from Panhandle Railroad Museum in Wellington

Wellington, Kan. - Last week, authorities say a theft occurred at the Panhandle Railroad Museum in Wellington."Sometime between 5 p.m. on Dec. 21, and 10 a.m. on the 22nd, somebody removed a partial part of the fence on the south side of the building," said Wellington Police Department's Brian Stewart. The fence encloses an area where museum artifacts are stored. "And they took an antique, cast-iron, railroad crossing sign," he said. Continued
