CTA Train Tracker — the answer to "Where's my train?" — is marking its first anniversary, and transit officials Monday will flip the switch on a new text-messaging feature.
Since January 2011, Train Tracker has enabled people using computers or smartphones to look up estimated arrival times for all CTA trains, spanning 143 stations on eight rail lines.
Beginning Monday, CTA riders who have only a bare-bones cellphone or mobile device without access to the Internet can use Train Tracker's text-message system. Continued
