Amtrak history exhibit rolls into Fort Worth

Four decades of Amtrak will pull into Cowtown this weekend. As part of the 40th Anniversary Exhibit Train, visitors can hop aboard to get a glimpse of polyester uniforms from the 1970s and vintage menus listing half-bottles of white wine for $2 and orders of pancakes for 90 cents. Old advertisements will be on hand, boasting voice-overs by actress Colleen Dewhurst and "There's something about a train that's magic" by crooner [crooner?] Richie Havens. Different train whistles can be heard throughout the cars. Continued
