2 million railroad ties removed from Va. property

RADFORD, Va. (AP) State environmental officials say a mountain of railroad ties has been cleared from a 7-acre site in Radford.
The state Department of Environmental Quality said Thursday the removal of nearly 2 million rail ties ends a years-long effort to clear the former industrial site of a potential environmental threat. Continued
