Volunteer died at Texas Transportation Museum

A volunteer at the Texas Transportation Museum died there Sunday night after he fell off of the caboose of a train.
Peter Stabe, 56, was pronounced dead moments after the fall, which took place in the 11700 block of Wetmore Road at about 7 p.m., the Bexar County medical examiner's office said.
Stabe, who had volunteered at the museum for six years, was working as conductor of a train for the Santa's Railroad Wonderland, a special event hosted at the 40-acre museum on weekend nights, said Pat Halpin, TTM chairman. Continued
