Vintage railroad cars go up in flames - while being scrapped

Two railroad cars that once carried passengers on excursions between Shelbyville and Wartrace won't be making any final runs.
Columns of smoke were visible throughout eastern Shelbyville when the cars, parked on tracks alongside Railroad Avenue behind Central High School, caught fire while being cut apart by railroad workers Thursday afternoon. Continued
