Railroad museum given extension to clean up property

Old Saybrook - The Board of Selectmen will give the Railroad Museum of New England five more months to clean up the old train cars and sheds off state-owned land on Bokum Road.
First Selectman Carl Fortuna said at Monday's meeting that the museum, which was to have cleared equipment off the property by now, asked for an extension through May 31.
The state leases the property to Connecticut Valley Railroad, which in turn subleases it to the Railroad Museum. Continued
