Railroad documentary a sentimental journey

Bennington's "Corkscrew Division" is the focus in the final volume of a documentary series exploring the lines of the now-defunct Rutland Railway.
The six-part series, "Rutland Remnants," is a trip through history and Vermont that chronicles the rail system which once brought dairy to New York City, and passengers through Bennington County.
"Basically, I track the entire railroad from Ogdensburg, N.Y., south, with anecdotes and photographs and old stories," said James R. "Jim" Jones, the Burlington-based filmmaker and "third generation railroad enthusiast," who called the newest release a "rail-themed" documentary with a "PBS-ish," Ken Burns-style production.
