Money Awarded To Revitalize Utica Main Line Railroad

Another winner from the tier's Economic Development Award is the Utica Main Line Railroad in Chenango County.
A project to revitalize the line, which was damaged in the flood of 2006, was awarded over $772,000.
Chenango County had applied for 4.7 million to cover 90% of the cost of the project. the line's operator New York Susquehanna and Western Railroad - would be responsible for 10% of the project, or $525,000. Continued
