Now 81 and living in Maplegrove, Minn., the self-proclaimed hobo has spent more time on the move than in one place and recently was crowned King of the Hobos by his fellow itinerant men and women at the 111th National Hobo Convention in Britt, Iowa.
According to the town's website, the annual convention began in 1900, when representatives from the nomadic workers' Tourist Union 63 in Chicago, Ill., selected Britt as the home of the hobo gathering. Continued
