Commission seeks feedback on Panhandle Rail Line lease

County residents along the state-owned Panhandle Rail Line, which runs through Newark and near Pataskala and Outville, can offer feedback on a proposed long-term lease of the rail line to the current operator, Genesee & Wyoming, from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at The Works museum, 55 S. First St. in Newark.
The meeting, held by the Ohio Rail Development Commission, will include a review of the draft of the proposed 25-year lease of the rail line and allow public comments.
