Amtrak resumes New York-Boston rail service

Amtrak has resumed service this afternoon after a tree fall this morning temporarily suspended trips between New York and Boston.
One of two tracks is now operating, Amtrak spokesman Cliff Cole said. As crews work to restore service on the second track, there may be some congestion delays along the route, though nothing longer than 45 minutes, he said. Continued
