Adirondack Scenic Railroad officials hope to resume Polar Express runs Saturday

Utica, NY – The Adirondack Scenic Railroad canceled today’s scheduled Polar Express runs after the train’s derailment but hopes to resume the excursions on Saturday, officials said. The last three cars and rear locomotive went off the track shortly after the train departed 6:30 p.m. Thursday from Utica’s Union Station. About 370 people were aboard the train, according to its conductor, Al Heywood. Continued
