The historic Union Pacific steam locomotive No. 844 will roll into Union Station around 11:45 a.m. Saturday for a brief visit, Union Pacific announced Wednesday.
The steam train left its home in Cheyenne, Wyo., on Oct. 29 for an extended tour of the West to celebrate the heritage of the railroad and the role it played in the development of the West.
The train will be on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday in Rose Park, a Salt Lake City neighborhood, leaving there early Saturday for the trip to Ogden. Continued
