Santa Train makes its 69th annual run through Appalachia Saturday, 14 stops to hand out toys

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — The Santa Train is set to make its 69th annual run through the Appalachia area of Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee.
The run begins Saturday morning in Shelby, Ky., and rolls south to end in Kingsport.
Husband-and-wife country music act Thompson Square are the celebrity guests aboard the CSX train, from which 15 tons of toys and gifts will be distributed at 14 stops along the 100-mile route. Continued
