Metrolink greases rails for railroad cars’ departure

Metrolink directors have voted to remove 15 railway cars that have collected dust on railroad tracks in Newhall for several years, a Metrolink official said today.
The railroad cars have been out of service for years and have lain dormant in a Metrolink storage area along Railroad Avenue for an approximate cost of $225,000 annually, said Sherita Coffelt, Metrolink spokeswoman. Continued
