Historic Letchworth Railroad Bridge to be Replaced

Letchwork, N.Y. - A historic bridge in Letchworth Park may be close to coming down.
The 136-year-old bridge spans the Genesee River gorge at the southern end of Letchworth State Park.
The railroad company - Norfolk Southern - says the old iron and steel bridge has become obsolete and wants to tear it down and replace it with a more modern, arched rail bridge. Continued
