Freight Railroads Reach Agreements With Four More Unions

Four unions representing about 11,000 workers reached a labor agreement with the largest U.S. freight railroads, the National Railway Labor Conference said in an e-mailed statement.
The agreements involve the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Blacksmiths, Iron Ship Builders, Forgers and Helpers; the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association; the National Conference of Firemen and Oilers; and the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen, the statement said. Continued
