Edaville Railroad welcomes back Festival of Lights, introduces Polar Express

CARVER - A beloved holiday favorite story comes to life as the Polar Express train ride roars into the station at Edaville Railroad, adding another attraction to the enchanting Christmas winter wonderland.
A new event this year, the Polar Express is a 40-minute train ride that will delight the young, and the young-at-heart, as they experience the wonders of the Chris Van Allsburg book and movie "Polar Express." Costumed characters from the story bring the tale of the magical train to life as they read the tale while the passengers, many of the youngsters clad in pajamas as in the tale, enjoy the scenic ride though the five-acre park.
"It's an incredibly beautiful trip past bogs, lakes and a pine forest," said Suzanne Byron, marketing and promotions director for Edaville. "We pick up Santa at a cranberry bog and he greets each and every child with a bell." Continued
