Ulster tourist train rolling on

PHOENICIA — Destructive floods have knocked one of Ulster County's fall tourism destinations off the tracks, but an all-volunteer crew will keep the scenic train rolling on a shortened route.
The Catskill Mountain Railroad, which runs leaf-peeping train tours in the northern part of the county, suffered extensive damage during the recent tropical storms.
Railroad chairman Harry Jameson said that rushing water destroyed three sections of railroad track, totaling roughly 1,000 feet. Continued
