TRAX trains to resume on Mid-Jordan line

Trains will resume running on the new Mid-Jordan TRAX line on Tuesday, after being shut down nearly a month to make safety improvements designed to avoid accidents like the one that killed Shariah Casper, 15, on June 8.
Improvements made by the Utah Transit Authority include removing portions of sound walls that obstructed pedestrian views of oncoming trains.

  1. I heard that new line is still scheduled to open to the public Aug. 7, along with the new West Valley City line.
