Hospital releases engineer who was in Metra crash

The engineer of the Metra Union Pacific Northwest line train that collided with a truck Friday in Mount Prospect was released Monday from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, the Union Pacific Railroad and the hospital confirmed.
Of the more than two dozen people aboard the train who were taken to area hospitals after the collision, the engineer was believed to be the most seriously injured, officials said. Continued
